The Leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Thursday October 31, 2019 lost his beloved Father, the traditional ruler of Isiama Afara Ukwu, a community in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State ABN TV reports.
A source close to the family who pleaded anonymity told ABN TV that HRM, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu (JP) passed on at Federal Medical centre, in Umuahia, Abia state where he has been at the Intensive care unit for about two weeks.
ABACITYBLOG reported that Nnamdi Kanu’s mother died on August 30 in a German hospital after a brief illness associated with the shock she got when her family house in Afaraukwu was invaded by Nigerian security officials, leaving heavy human and animal casualties in the process.
