Speaker House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila on Sunday afternoon visited the former Governor of Abia state and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in his Abuja residence.
This is the second time the Speaker would be visiting the Chief Whip since Federal High Court sitting in Lagos ordered for Kalu’s release from Kuje correctional centre.
It was gathered that the Speaker arrived at 2 PM and proceeded for a private discussion with Kalu. The discussion which lasted for two hours was assumed to be centered on politics and economy.
Senator Kalu, former Abia State governor and senator representing Abia North senatorial district has received numerous visitors since he was freed from the Abuja correctional service.
Kalu was accused of misappropriation of state funds during his time as governor Abia state. He was accused by the EFCC.
