Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro has tested positive for Corona virus.
Jair Bolsonaro is the 38th and current president. He was sworn in on 1 January 2019 following the 2018 presidential election.
This is coming shortly after the president described the virus as a ‘Little Cold’, he had repeatedly waded into crowds of supporters, threatened to host a large barbecue to spite health measures, and as recently as last week attended a July 4 party at the United States Embassy in Brasilia without wearing a mask.
Bolsonaro was ordered by a Brazilian court last month to wear face mask while in public before it was finally confirmed now that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
He is now the Third world leader to test positive for the novel corona Virus.
