Fellow Biafrans:
I am of the assumption that most Biafrans must have been apprised of the social and economic problems confronting Biafra States as a result of the magnitude of the Internally Displaced Persons Potentials of certain segment of our population.
Initially, this threat was only localized to Northern Nigeria but recently, it has extended to Western Nigeria and the former Capital Territory of Lagos. Perhaps, some Biafrans may have observed that applying a casual solution to a permanent problem has not helped issues.
More so, when such new problems emerge with definition of property rights and determination of tenure issues.
In view of these circumstances, I am suggesting that we should organize a committee of grant writers or business plan developers to design and develop a business plan or program whose ultimate mission is to successfully implement a resettlement plan for the internally displaced persons of Biafran origin with funds from the World Bank Structural Adjustment loan or Grant Program and/or from any other financial institution.
I wish to emphasize that these Grant Writers would be volunteers and should have, at a minimum Master’s Degree or MBA in Economics, Statistics, or in any Business Management Field.
In addition, persons with undergraduate degrees with verifiable Financial Banking lending experience will be considered. Persons who intend to volunteer for this opportunity should send their personal information to the following:
