Mazi Uche Mefor has resigned his position as the deputy leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, reports reaching us says.
Mazi Mefor, according to reports, has floated a new radio station called; “Biafra Human Rights and Freedom Radio” (BHFR).
Mefor, as a deputy leader is the second in command after Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is the leader of IPOB and founder of Radio Biafra Worldwide.
Mefor’s resignation was announced by Mr. Emeka Gift, an ardent follower of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and founder of Biafra Family Writers.

Speaking further on Mefor’s resignation, Mr. Emeka said, Mefor might have been nursing ambition to form a new Biafran Movement group.
He said; “There is nothing wrong in having your own group if you think you have what it takes to mobilise & convince our people that you can get Biafra.

In the same development, the secretary to the office of the leader of IPOB, Amaka Ekwo has also resigned her position. Ms. Ekwo stated this while reacting to a comment made by Emeka Gift, who accused her of blocked him on twitter following her resignation.
“Mr Emeka Gift, I blocked you many months ago, and it has nothing to do my resignation”, Amaka wrote in a twitter post.

Meanwhile, Amaka Ekwo was appointed as a secretary to the of Nnamdi Kanu on June, 2019, her appointment was announced by the IPOB leader via a twitter post.
“It’s my pleasure to introduce Ms. Amaka Ekwo, the press secretary to my office.
“She is the contact in relation to press matters. I trust she will continue to do a brilliant job. May Chukwu Okike Abiama bestow her with the grace to continue her relentless work for Biafra, Isee”, Mazi Kanu wrote on twitter.
