The healthiness of every Society depends on the moral health of teenagers and the moral health of teenagers depends on the moral health of adults.
We are obviously living in a society that places little or no value on the moral, social, physical, psychological and spiritual development of teenagers, owning to the fact that parents think that since they (teenagers) go to school, then their teachers at school will totally fend for every of their needs needed to mature into adult; that’s delusion, because the teachers are paid to teach them how to read and write and not how to behave in a socially acceptable way.
Our Society is basically made of faulty adults who are morally poor and mentally wretched — that is why stories of rape, killing, embezzlement of funds, homosexuality, lesbianism and fighting is very common of which it is gradually becoming a norm in our society.
However, in attempt to preserve humanity and curb immorality, Miss Wazobia Nigeria – Queen Oluebubechi Jewel Micheal has saddled herself with the vision and responsibility of reaching out to teenagers by initiating a project called MY TEENAGE LIFE.
My Teenage life is a project aimed at extending a compassionate hand to teenagers ,stemmed from an unwavering believe in the potentials they are (Teenagers) endowed with, so as to nurture, coach and motivate them to discover, develop and deploy those potentials: gifts and talents for the betterment of themselves, society and posterity.
Furthermore, the project seeks to give them quality information about how to take care of themselves physically and emotionally, create platforms where teenagers can gainfully engaged themselves so as to hone their collaborative skill and also Initiate skill acquisition programs so as to encourage entrepreneurship.
In a nutshell, the project seeks to recreate an inclusive society that will prioritize; value supports the full engagement of its Teenage circles in the civic, social, economic, cultural life and diverse communities, so as to achieve a healthy society and a safe space for every individual: Young and old.
On 29th November, 2019, Queen Jewel Michael carried out the second edition of her project – MY TEENAGE LIFE at Emerald International Academy.
