Laycon, Winner of Season 5 “Big Brother Naija Reality TV Show”, has lambasted the federal government over her inability to win the war against insurgency and its policy of pardoning repentant Boko Haram members.
Laycon’s outburst is following the abduction of over 300 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State who were kidnapped by suspected Boko Haram terrorists last Friday.
The abduction of the students has caused so much uproar in the nation. Recently, Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau claimed responsibility of the abduction. To make his point, he released a video showing the distraught looking students as they beg the Nigerian government to come for their rescue.
Reacting over the students abduction, Olamilekan Moshood Agbeleshe, popularly known as Laycon, opined that rehabilitating the terrorists and releasing them back to the society is why they will continue terrorising the country knowing they will be pardoned when captured.
“These people terrorise the country, destroy lives and properties, cause tragedy, kill soldiers for sport, and when you apprehend them, you supposedly “rehabilitate” them and release them back into the society.
