Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has vowed that there will be nothing like Rural Grazing Area (RUGA) as long as IPOB lives.
Kanu was speaking at the backdrop of the suspended RUGA settlements projects by FG for the Fulani herdsmen. He also used the medium to announced that he will be speaking live on Radio Biafra, (a radio station established by him).
He said; “Join me for a special live broadcast on Radio Biafra FM, Radio Biafra App, satellite and online.
“As long as IPOB lives, there will be no RUGA”.

Meanwhile, ABACITYBLOG reported that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari had suggested and began the project nationwide with stakeholders not carried along. He said the initiative will bring a permanent end to herders and farmers clashes across Nigeria.
Although it is said to be optional for interested states, the implementation of the projects in some states that rejected it fuelled speculations that the government was being economical with the truth.
Those who rejected the move accused the federal government of spreading land grabbing for the benefit of the Fulani tribe.
