Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide had alerted Igbos to support and invest in Agriculture especially more in Animal Husbandry.
The move, according to OYC, will be achieve as the collaborative efforts of various Igbo Stakeholders to ensure the Use of peaceful process to preserve and protect communities from the fear of the reports of influx of Almajiris to Southeast, which was sponsored by Northern Political Musketeers, Traditional Rulers and a Northern Billionaire Businessman for political purposes.
OYC in a statement signed by its President General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, said it had received confirmation of the order of 20,000 pigs from Oke Aro Piggery Farms Estate Ogun State
According to OYC, the Pigs will be distributed to Communities Youth leaders across 95 local Governments of Southeast to prevent any eventuality and drive out Armed Bandits and Mischievous criminals that had infiltrated amongst the innocent Almajiris to Southeast, possibly Constitute a Security threat in The South East as 2023 draws nearer.
“Igbo Youths Uncovers plot by a Northern billionaire and his Cohorts, reasons of sending Almajiris to the South, was a Scripted Future Plans and Well Calculated Moves to have Enough mercenaries for civil disobedience and crisis in the south,” parts of the statement said.
Noting that the alleged plan gives the North an edge to dishonour the Gentleman Agreement of Rotational Presidency between North and South that had existed since1999, and retain Northern Presidency in 2023 against Southern Nigeria Presidency.
“We Expect all Igbos to support the Piggery Farms Project,” Ndigbo Agwo nno na akirika”, OYC concluded.
