Popular Nigerian/International afro-pop singer, Burna Boy has said he doesn’t trust any politician and would not want to partake in any protest led by any of them.
Burna who has been described as Fela’s son following his style of music which falls to the same category of late Nigerian music icon, Fela Kuti, had been called out by Nigerian former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore to join the planned tomorrow’s protest.
The protest tagged; #RevolutionNow, organized by Sowore and his team was to push for a revolution against what they described as bad governance by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Asking the artiste to join, Sowore took to his twitter handle and wrote;
“Hello @burnaboy, everywhere I turn people describe you as a revolutionary musician, the foreign media even celebrate you compare you to Fela Kuti, but I am yet to see you lead anyone to a police station carrying a coffin for head of state! Join #Oct1stProtest #RevolutionNow

Responding to Sowore’s request, Burna Boy said he does not trust politicians, noting that all politicians are the same.
“Everybody is a Fela fan and supporter now that he is dead. Humans are so Funny, You politicians are ALL the same (especially in Nigeria) and Frankly I don’t trust none of you. @YeleSowore.
