The management of Access bank Plc has deemed it right to pay the Federal Government imposed stamp duty charges on behalf of it’s customers.
This is coming days after #Accessbankscam trended on social media over the debit on individual accounts.
Reacting to this the commercial Bank took to it’s verified twitter handle to state that the institution will be taking responsibility of the payment on behalf of it’s customers.
The bank also promised to refund it’s Customers who were debited from February to April 2020.
It captioned the statement:
“We have heard your feedback and we hope this goes a long way to make it better. Thank you for sticking with us.”
