Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria has taken over the top list of places in the country with a towering number of confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to reports on Saturday night, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 386 new cases in 17 states and the FCT.
While 130 new infections were recorded in the FCT, Lagos was second with 65.
Total number of recoveries has now topped 20,000.
The number of discharged patients rose from 19,565 to 20,087, while the fatality figure has increased from 879 to 883.
The total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria currently 43,537.
