Abia State University Uturu (ABSU) has won a cash prize of N10 million naira, for emerging as the second runner up in JAMB’s National Tertiary Admissions’ Performance-Merit Award (NATAP-M Award), held yesterday in Abuja.
ABSU emerged victorious in the category of Most Improve Tertiary Institution in Admission processes and Gender balance, amongst ALL public and private universities, polytechnics and colleges of education in Nigeria.
It is evident that ABSU has remained one of the best tertiary institution, in Nigeria, till date. The university has lived up to her motto, which is “excellence and service” and Abians and indeed people of goodwill should celebrate her latest feat.
Yours sincerely was handy to receive the award on behalf of the University Management, ably lead by Distinguished Prof Onyemachi Maxwell Ogbulu .
Now that we have something good and commendable to celebrate about ABSU in particular and Abia State in general, can we please drop our monumental “AKPOR” and share in the moment of joy and success. Can we all carry this good news the same way we spread bad news, in Abia State. That would be equity and fairness.
