The Management of Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu has banned the use of personal vehicles by students and flagrant display of wealth on campus.
In an official press release signed by the registrar, Acho Elendu, said henceforth, “only staff and accredited visitors would be allowed to drive their vehicles into the campus.
“Any student who violates this directive, which is in the interest of the University community, shall face severe disciplinary action”, the statement concluded.
The directives of the school might be unconnected to the bid to eradicate flagrant show of ill-gotten wealth by students who indulge into internet fraud otherwise known as yahoo yahoo.
