The senator-elect representing the Abia North Senatorial district, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has thanked his constituents for giving him the opportunity to represent them in the national assembly.
Kalu, had won after two consecutive attempts beating his opponent, Mao Ohuabunwa of PDP to clinched the Abia North senatorial position. He was among the lawmakers who, yesterday, received their certificate of return from the INEC.
Speaking after the occasion attended by the senators-elect, Kalu said it’s time for qualitative & quantitative representation.
He said;
Earlier today being the 14th of March, 2019, at the International Conference Centre, Abuja joined by my friends, family ,business & political associates & other well wishers.
I received my Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as the duly elected Senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
I will be representing the good people of Abia North Senatorial district 2019 -2023.
The journey towards qualitative & quantitative representation begins. By the grace of God & with your support I will be the voice of Ndigbo & Nigerians at large.
