The Nigeria Police Force, Abia State Command headed by CP Janet Agbede rescued 2 kidnap victims in Amauzo Okpolu Umuobo Community in Osisioma Local Government Area of Abia State.

The hoodlums had this week on Wednesday 7th May, 2020 by 10:00 pm abducted two persons along Okpolu Umuobo road near Jesus Christ of Later Day Saint Church in Osisioma Local Government Area of Aba commercial city.

Those kidnapped by the hoodlums are Nwankwo Chinedu (male) 42 years and Ndukwe Agu (male) aged 48 years were both abducted at Okpolu Umuobo road, on Wednesday.

When after the incident happened, the commissioner of Police , CP Janet Agbede got intelligence that the kidnappers moved the victims to their hideout at Amauzo Okpolu Umuobo community , Osisioma Council area.

The CP detailed SARS commander in Abia , SP Johnbull Obioguru and the C.T.U. men to fish out the criminals and resue their innocent victims.

In the same night of Wednesday, the SARS Commander with his team stormed the kidnappers hideout which happens to be the home of one of the kidnappers and resued their victims.

When the kidnappers saw the SARS team coming towards their direction, they opened fire and the SARS team responded and overpowered them despite the fact that they had superior fire arms and they took to their heels abandoning the victims in their hideout.

During the gun duel with the hoodlums, two of the criminals sustained gun shot injuries and escaped with it. Recovered from the criminals hideout is a Techno cell phone suspected to belong to the hoodlums, and a RX 350 Jeep belonging to one of the victims.

At the criminals hideout , the police arrested the wife of one of criminals who is a nursing mother. She is living in the same building were the kidnappers kept their victims.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Janet Agbede achieved this great feat just after 2 weeks she was deployed to Abia State. She has just shown criminals and other bad elements in the state that they is no hiding place for them in the state if they fail to turn a new leave.
