Children across the three senatorial districts of the Abia state under the auspices of OUK Friends International celebrated the 61st Birthday celebration of the Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
This is coming few weeks after the Abia North Senator had celebrated his birthday on 21st of April 2021.
The children used the opportunity of the Workers Day to celebrate the Senate Chief Whip whom they said contributed immensely in advancing the welfare of workers in the state without any record of non-payment of salaries during his tenure as governor.
OUK Friends International and the kids led by the spokesperson to the Senator, Hon Maduka Okoro converged at Crunchies Fast-food in Umuahia to celebrate the federal lawmaker in excitement.
The celebrant, Sen. Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu was placed a surprise call where he expressed gratitude to his friends for celebrating him, reiterating that he will continue to use his office to advance the welfare of people of Abia of all ages irrespective of their political differences.
The celebration ended with cutting of Sen. Kalu’s 61st birthday.
