Senate Chief Whip, Sen. Orji Uzor-Kalu welcomed Gen. Ihejirika into the party describing his coming as a good development to both APC, Abia and the entire Nation.
Comrade Benedict Godson, Abia APC Publicity Secretary said, Ihejirika has joined the moving train and will be a big plus to the party.
“And as you can see, everywhere in Abia is now APC. The state Chairman, Hon. Donatus Nwankpa has been able to lead this party from no where to somewhere.
“It’s obvious that APC has come stay. We’ve come to give Abia people good governance. I can tell you that come 2023, APC will take over every political position in Abia.
“The entrance of General Ihejirika is a boost to APC. He’s a man of honour and integrity. He has served Nigeria at the highest level for 38 years.
“So, we beg other Abia people who are still wasting time in that sinking ship called People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to quickly join well meaning Abia people to rewrite our history.”
Godson said that come 2023, nothing will prevent APC from showing the PDP the exit route to Abia State Government as the people are already tired of PDP’s underachieving Government.
