It has been a continued harvest of encomium and monumental breakthrough as another heavyweight grassroots group that cuts across and, deeply rooted in the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State, have openly endorsed Kalu Ijomah Ukeh as their candidate for the 2023 governorship election in Abia state.

The group known as God’s Own Foundation, in a meeting with her executives held over the weekend, were eloquent and coherent their media briefings and the agenda of their meeting.

In a statement released by the Chairman, Comrade Kalu Anya, the group reiterated thus: “Abia is in urgent need of good governance that shall transcend to the grassroot. It is neccessary that every concerned citizen of the state must come together at this critical point to support someone that has the necessary prerequisites, the pedigree, the charisma and the willpower to govern,  a man that is willing to add value to the word “govern” as it directly affects the people.

“it is in line with the quest to deliver our dear state that we, after much deliberations, consultation and considerations on who can deliver effectively, have decided, unanimously and unambiguously, to endorse Mr. Kalu Ijomah Ukeh for the governorship position of the state.”

“This decision was arrived at, knowing that the intellectual capacity of Mr. Kalu Ijomah Ukeh is undoubtedly second to none and his qualities of leadership. We are confident that he is the most qualified of all”, the statement reveals.

The group therefore, “appeal to other groups, persons, authorities and other  Abians both at home and in diaspora to see the need to  support Kalu Ijomah Ukeh for the governorship position come 2023.”

In an accompanying video, The group’s chairman, Comrade Kalu Anya, thank the 17 local government coordinators, secretaries and the women leader of their foundation (God’s Own Foundation) who, notwithstanding their tight schedules, made it to the epochal meeting of LGA coordinators.

The meeting, held in Aba, which was specifically organised for the executives of God’s Own Foundation with its other LGA members, had in attendance the chairman of God’s Own Foundation, Comrade Kalu Anya, the 17 Local Government Area coordinators of God’s Own Foundation, the woman leader of God’s Own Foundation and the executives of God’s Own Foundation.

It should be Recall that, penultimate week, Abians in diaspora endorsed the Abia born chemical engineer to join race for the governorship race of the state.

This endorsement is amonsgt many, as  groups have frequently and openly endorsed Kalu Ijomah Ukeh for the governorship position.

MeanwhIle, Kalu Ijomah Ukeh is a chemical engineer, technocrat, a humanitarian and a pragmatist who is bent to improve the human side of life.

Kalu Ijomah Ukeh is also the leader of Ijeoma Abia Foundation, top foundation in Abia state.
