The ceiling of the Aba High Court 4, in Abia State, yesterday, collapsed resulting in the disruption of the activities of the Court that was session.
There was no fatality, but sources said the roof of the Court had been leaking for a long time. Some staff of the Court were seen praising God for preventing what could have turned into a calamity, while trying to safeguard very sensitive materials.
It will be recalled that former Attorney General of State, Chief Umeh Kalu, SAN, had, in an open letter, drawn the attention of the Governor of the State, Okezie Ikpeazu, PhD, to the deplorable state of the Courts in Abia State.
