Friends of Prof. Pius Adesanmi, one of Nigeria’s foremost academic exports, who died in the ill-fated Ethiopian Airline Boeing 737 Max aircraft on Sunday, March 10, 2019, will mark a Special Day of Tributes in his honour on Saturday, March 23, 2019.
Similar events will also hold across many countries in the world including United Kingdom, Canada and the United States.
The event, which comes up in Lagos this weekend, will take place at the BlueRoof, LTV Auditorium, Agidingbi, Ikeja. Themed Rethinking Africa: Challenging the Norm, the event will attract high networth and network of participants from across the country.
It will also feature speakers such as His Eminence John Cardinal Onaiyekan, Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, Pastor Poju Oyemade, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, Mr Kennedy Emetulu, Prof. R. Raji, Mr Japheth Omojuwa, among others.
The event will start with Candlelight Procession from the Public Park beside Ikeja City Mall, opposite Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa through Governor’s Road onto Obafemi Awolowo Way terminating at the BlueRoof, LTV Ground.
