Niger Republic, has deported no fewer than 42 citizens of Nigeria over illegal entry into their country.
This was revealed by the Acting Controller, Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Katsina State, Abdullahi Dalhatu in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, twelve among the fourthy-two, were arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Katsina.
“Twelve of the forty-two repatriated Nigerians have been arraigned before the Federal High Court in Katsina for evading Immigration clearance while crossing Nigerian border to another country through illegal routes”, the statement reads.
Dalhatu, urged Nigerian citizens who have intentions of leaving the country to always present themselves at a recognised port of entry.
