Popular singer, Peter Okoye popularly known as Peter Psquare or Mr. P, has cautioned Nigerian electorates to vote wisely come 2023 general election.
AbaCityBlog recalled that the singer who doubles as the duo of Psquare with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, had endorsed the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and has urged Nigerians to rally round the politician to bring the desirable change.
Since their endorsement of Peter Obi, the singer and his brother have been criticized by the supporters of the opposition parties and online trolls for their choice of presidential candidate.
Responding to the critics through his verified official Twitter page, Peter said it’s ‘stupid’ for some people to say they will laugh at Peter Obi’s supporters if he fails to win the 2023 presidential election.
“The fact that Some people think this is about who to mock or laugh at after 2023 election is the most stupid thing i see on the internet! Again! hunger knows no Tribe or Religion! VOTE WISELY!, the singer tweeted.

Peter Obi, is a former Anambra State governor and a successful businessman.
He left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and joined the Labour Party in the build up of the party’s presidential primaries. Since he joined the Labour Party, Obi has garnered organic support from mostly Nigerian youths who described themselves as #Obidients.
