A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia State, Hon. Ukiwe Okwara has given reasons why Ibe Okwara Osonwa, a house of representatives aspirant for Arochukwu Ohafia Federal Constituency, should be elected in 2023.
Mr Okwara disclosed that if elected, Mr Osonwa would “restore” the dignity of the Constituency through effective and quality representation.
He stated this while addressing the supporters of Ibe Okwara Osonwa on Thursday evening at Ebem Ohafia.
He encouraged eligible voters to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC), avoid vote-buying and violence before, during, and after the 2023 general elections.
He advised the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency to “stay away from those supporting bad governance in the state” because of their selfish interest, noting that only a competent leader like Ibe Okwara Osonwa is capable of giving the constituency a voice.
“Some of them are supporting bad governance in Abia State. These people are supporting non payment of salaries, pension and gratuities in Abia and they want to represent you in Abuja; please don’t trust them,” he said.
