Reports has it that 13 more Imo state members of the house of assembly has tested positive for COVID-19.
The number of the lawmakers is currently 14 when added to the existing report.
The state’s Task Force on COVID-19 spokesman, Chinedu Iwuala, disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday, according to Igberetv reports.
This report is coming few days after six days after a lawmaker, whose identity was not released, tested positive for the virus in the state.
According to the spokesman, samples of all other lawmakers and their aides were taken to the laboratory for COVID-19 test but the results of 13 more members of the Assembly came back positive.
