The Anambra State command of Eastern Security Network #ESN has began operation.
It should be recalled that ESN was launched on Saturday by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB during a live broadcast on Facebook live.
The IPOB leader said the security outfit was launched in a bid to curb insecurity in the old eastern region.
He noted that the ESN was launched to safeguard the old Eastern region and it’s territories, protecting the farmers from marauding Fulani Herdsmen, Bandits and kidnappers.
‘How Did They Get Weapons? – Nigerians reacts on twitter.
Nigerians on US based micro-blog, Twitter has questioned the source, and how did the ESN got their weapons.
While some feared what might happened if ESN was not controlled properly others opined that it’s the right way to go, citing it’s timely, especially now Nigeria is experiencing rising insecurity.
“Like play like play the southeast has laid the foundation for its own collapse. Sad to watch,” a twitter user wrote while reacting to the video.
“What’s the difference between them and ISBAH. Be fair in your assessment and don’t be myopic,” another twitter user counters the above comment.
“This is 1967 civil war beginning to play out again. IPOB hv been armed. The Nigerian State failure is the awakening of the succession of Biafra in the consciousness of all Igbos. Sadly the Nigerian govt will never learn. Only the growth & prosperity of Nig will end all this.” A twitter user wrote.
