Introduction

In order to watch the FIFA Women’s World Cup this summer, American soccer fans have several network options. But who are FIFA Women’s World Cup official broadcasters? Fox Sports is televising the tournament in English, while Telemundo and NBC Universo are providing Spanish-language coverage. Here is a complete breakdown of the network options for American viewers:

Fox Sports: The main broadcaster of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in the United States, Fox Sports will televise all 52 matches on its various channels, including FS1, FS2, and Fox Soccer Plus.

Telemundo: In addition to its regular television coverage on Telemundo, NBCUniversal’s Spanish-language network will provide live streams of every match on its digital platforms, including the Telemundo Deportes App and TelemundoDeportes.com.

NBC Universo: NBC Universo will also provide live streams of every match on its digital platforms as well as televised coverage of select matches.

Overview of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023

The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 will be the 10th edition of the quadrennial international women’s soccer championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament will be expanded from 24 to 32 teams.

It is scheduled to take place from 20 July to 20 August 2023. This will also mark the first time that three consecutive editions of either men’s or women’s World Cups are staged in the same continent, after the 2021 edition in Asia and the 2022 edition in Qatar.

The host selection process was originally scheduled to begin in 2019, but was postponed due to concerns over the treatment of women’s soccer in various countries. In May 2020, FIFA announced that a new bidding process would begin later in 2020 for both the 2023 Women’s World Cup and the 2025 Men’s World Cup, with interested member associations having until December 2020 to express their interest.

The Official Broadcasters for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023

The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 will be broadcast on Fox Sports and Telemundo in the United States, with both networks televising all 52 games live. In Canada, the tournament Push Pull Leg Workout  will be carried by TSN and RDS.

For fans in the UK, the BBC and ITV have once again secured the rights to show all of the action from France. The two broadcasters will share coverage of the tournament, with each network showing 26 live matches.

In Australia, SBS will once again be the free-to-air broadcaster for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, while Optus Sport will show all games live and on demand.

Benefits of Watching on Official Broadcasters

There are several benefits to watching the FIFA Women’s World Cup on official broadcasters. Firstly, you can be sure that you are watching high-quality footage of the matches. Secondly, you will have access to a range of expert commentary and analysis from knowledgeable pundits. Thirdly, you will be able to watch exclusive interviews with players and managers as well as other behind-the-scenes content. Finally, by watching on official broadcasters, you will be supporting the women’s game and helping to grow its popularity around the world.

How to Access the Official Broadcasters

There are a few ways that viewers in the United States can watch the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The official broadcasters are Fox Sports and Telemundo, and both networks will be airing games throughout the tournament.

Fox Sports will have the English-language broadcast rights for all 52 games of the tournament, which includes every game involving a team from the United States. All of these games will be available to stream on the Fox Sports app, which can be downloaded on most smart devices. In addition, some games will also be aired on FS1, Fox’s 24-hour sports network.

For Spanish-language broadcasts, Telemundo has the exclusive rights in the United States. 41 games will be aired on the main Telemundo network, with the remaining 11 games being streamed on Universo, Telemundo’s cable network aimed at Hispanic audiences. Like Fox Sports, Telemundo also has an app that can be used to stream games.

Finally, there is also an option for fans who want to watch multiple games at once. The multi-game view feature on FOXSports.com and the FOX Soccer Match Pass app will show four live streams at once, giving viewers plenty of options to choose from.

Final Thoughts

As the FIFA Women’s World Cup nears its end, many fans are wondering which network will be broadcasting the final games. Here are the network options for viewers in the United States:

Fox Sports: Fox Sports will be broadcasting all 52 games of the FIFA Women’s World Cup. They will also have live coverage of the semi-finals and the final match.

Telemundo: Telemundo will be broadcasting 45 out of the 52 total games. They will also have live coverage of both semi-final matches and the final match.

ESPN: ESPN will be broadcasting 41 out of the 52 total games. However, they will only have live coverage of one semi-final match and the final match.

Thus, depending on which network viewers in the United States want to watch, they have different options available to them. For those who want to catch every game, Fox Sports is probably the best option. However, those who want to see all of the action but don’t mind missing a few games here and there can opt for Telemundo or ESPN.
