Trending video showed the moment South African TV program hosted a ‘traditional healer’ to ask ‘the ancestors’ to predict the outcome of their forthcoming election.

In the 1 minute and 31 seconds video, the program host asked the “traditional healer” – identified as Gogo Ntoleng – to ask the ancestors their prediction of the November 1. South African forthcoming municipal elections.

What do you think about this election, knowing that millions of South Africans will go out to vote? The TV host asked.

Responding, the “traditional healer” shook the calabash she came with, went ahead and said…

“What our ancestors is saying is that, the political party that ruled from the years back, is actually gonna rule again.

“And other parties will actually come after it.

“The African National Congress (ANC) will be the ruling party again and it will be 60.7 percent.

Meanwhile, according to News24 poll, South Africa’s ruling African National Congress is unlikely to win a majority in Johannesburg, the nation’s largest city, or the capital Pretoria in forthcoming municipal elections.

The ANC’s support in Johannesburg could fall to 41% if half of eligible voters turn out for the Nov. 1 elections, News24 reported, citing the poll it commissioned. The main opposition Democratic Alliance would get 25%. The ANC received 45% in the 2016 elections, and the DA 38%.
