Public universities in Norway do not charge students tuition fees, regardless of your country of origin.

Studying for free in Norway is possible and students has been getting free degrees wit no tuition fees paid, why? because majority of Norwegian universities and state university colleges are publicly funded.
The Norwegian government considers access to higher education for all to be an important part of the Norwegian society. Thus, as a rule, Norwegian public institutions do not charge tuition fees.
This also applies to international students, no matter which country you come from.

It’s important to note that Norway is a high-cost country and living expenses are high.

Students Financial Support
Although, International students can apply for financial support which can help the students pay for their living expenses.
Moreever, these financial supports are limited and will in most cases not cover the total costs of the students stay in Norway, hence students may seek financial supports from their home country.
To get the funding support, students are expected to meet certain prerequisites to be eligible for financial support that can pay for some of their living expenses.
The financial aid also contains various fellowship programmes, scholarship schemes or student loans, international students can receive funding for a full degree or a limited number of semesters.

In Norway, there are some national programmes that offer scholarships and other types of funding for international students to study in Norway.
However, certain restrictions and prerequisites apply for all these programmes.
