Senator T.A Orji Emerges Best Performing Lawmaker In the National Assembly

Senator T. A. Orji, CON, Representing Abia Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Abuja has been rated the Highest in Legislative Productivity in a Report Card of the 9th Senate Volume one, Number one ( June 2019 – May 2020) Captioned How Former Governors Stand in Bills Chart of the 9th Senate.

Senator Theodore Orji, Abia Central, Abia State, has Seven (7) Bills to his Standing in the Bills Chart of the 9th Senate according to the release.

He is in that bracket with Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Nasarawa West, Nasarawa State with seven bills on the Bills Chart.

Senator Aliyu Wamakko, Sokoto North, Sokoto State. Senator Gabriel Suswam, also a former Governor and Senator Ibikunle Amosun have four (4) bills each.
Senator Danjuma Goje, former Governor of Gombe State has three (3) bills standing in his name.

He Represents Gombe Central on the platform of the APC. Four Senators who were Ex-Governors have two (2) bills to their names.

They are: Senator Kabiru Gaya (APC) Kano South, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam (APC) Yobe East, Senator Samuel Egwu (PDP) Ebonyi North, Senator Adamu Aliero (APC) Kebbi Central and the Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe (PDP) Abia South, Abia State.

In the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Representing Bende Federal Constituency, and Hon. Oluga Taiwo Olubunmi are among the first ten (10) New Members of the Three Hundred and sixty Legislature that have the Highest Number of Bills in their names.

Senator T. A. Orji, also has several completed and ongoing projects dotted across his constituency, Abia Central Senatorial District, Abia State.
These include:

Twelve Classroom Block at Okwuta Community, Umuahia North Local Government Area, with conveniences and Headmaster’s Office.

Twelve Classroom Block at Ikem Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, with conveniences and Headmaster’s Office.

Ongoing Road Construction Project at Nbawsi, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area.

Agricultural Empowerment Training Programme at the National Agricultural Mechanization, llorin, Kwara State.
Empowerment Training Programme for Widows at the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Umuahia, Abia State.
A Five Day Training of Youths on SNAILERY with Start Up Kits at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Abia State.

Annual Scholarship Programme for over One Hundred Students drawn from the six local government Areas of Abia Central Senatorial District.

In all facets of Legislative Duties, Senator Theodore Orji stands out distinct.
