Labour party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has said he will turn Aba and Port Harcourt into a one complementing business corridor when he becomes President in 2023.
The former Anambra State governor who said both cities will remain in two different states, made the statement while answering questions thrown at him by Mr. Seun, the anchor of Politics Today on Channels Television.
Elaborating what he said by turning both cities into a one complementing business corridor, Obi said this is because Port Harcourt has a seaport, while Aba is an industrial city.
Decrying the level of the hardship people pass through from Port Harcourt to Aba, Obi said he will open up the road of both cities.
“It’s disheartening that Aba to Port Harcourt, a journey of three minutes now takes about three hours”, Obi said.
