Femi Fani-Kayode, former minister of Aviation and Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has described the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as cancer that seek to take power from the ruling APC and afflict the country, Nigeria.
Fani-Kayode who made the comment via his official twitter page, added that the verbal war between him and former Kogi lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye will be put on hold till further notice following an intervention from some unnamed leaders.
AbaCityBlog reports that Kayode and Melaye had engaged each other in a verbal war over the crisis in the PDP. The politicians has gone to the length at doing comedy skit criticizing each other on social media.
Melaye described Fani-Kayode as someone who is hungry and he will not invite him for dinner.

Responding, Fani-Kayode did a skit, where he described Melaye as a ‘Pig’.

Announcing that there has been a cease fire, FFK said; “A pig will always be a pig even if it wears lipstick.
Despite all, let us hope this ceasefire holds. If it does, good. If it does not, good. Warriors love war. That is what we live and die for.
“Destiny speaks at the end: by the time this is all over we will see who is “politically relevant” and who is in the “political scheme of things” and who is not. Out of respect to the leaders who intervened, unless and until the ceasefire is violated, I will not pay any more attention to the unlearned & uncultured.
“Instead I will focus on doing all I can for my party APC and our candidate BAT to secure a great victory and to heartily flog the plague and cancer that seek to take power and afflict our country that is known as PDP.
“This will be done during the course of what will be an issues-based election campaign.
