A Nigerian lawyer has been kicked out of the WhatsApp group of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA Ikeja branch, Lagos State, over a comment he made.
The lawyer, was said to have shared a link of news stories published by an online platform, People Gazette. The news was about MC Oluomo’s faction clash with Agbede’s faction over NURTW leadership in Abuja.
Sharing the story to the Whatsapp group, the lawyer described MC Oluomo as ‘Executive Thug’, that, which led to his ousting from the Ikeja NBA Whatsapp group chat.
When he reached out to the admin, while trying to know his sins, he was told that his caption of the link, “Executive thug of Lagos now in FCT”, referring to MC Oluomo – is very derogatory and that led to his removal from the group.
Responding, the lawyer who was shocked over the response he got, wondered why he will be removed from the NBA Whatsapp group because he called MC Oluomo a thug.
“MC Oluomo isn’t a thug? It’s hilarious counsel, I was removed from the Bar Association group for calling MC Oluomo a thug, wow!”, he reacted.
