Reports has it the Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie have reduced the operational hours for Tricycle (Keke) operators in Aba.
The development also extended to Umuahia, the state capital.
According to online news platform, time for the keke operators has been reversed to 7pm, from the previous time (9:PM).
It should be recalled that the governor extended the time last year but shortens the time just months after the election.
Confirming the development, Commissioner for Information Chief John Okiyi Kalu, told Abia Pulse that the time reduction was aimed at curbing the rising spate of crime in recent times in the state.
