Abia State polytechnic Aba has commenced the implementation of the review report on verification of its staff and their certificates as duly approved by the state executive council in April this year.
In a realese signed by the P.R.O of Abia Poly, Mrs Chinyere Eze, said after verification and reviews, letters have been issued to 258 staff whose services are no longer needed by the institution.
It also stated that all affected staff are receiving their salaries in line with their condition of service, and will also receive their outstanding salaries.
The release also stated that the ongoing reform is expected to reposition the institution to achieve excellence amongst others.
