The President spokes person added the “With a well-deserved victory over the Bafana Bafana of South Africa, President Buhari believes, like millions of other sports-loving Nigerians, that the mission of having the trophy in our hands for the fourth time is almost accomplished for the high flying Eagles”.

Also over Garba’s comment, Senator Sani said Eagles win shouldn’t be used as a political propaganda. According to him, “their defeats in the past has never been accepted as part of ‘failure of Government’

He said; “Don’t use Super Eagles successes for Political propaganda or count their victories as part of ‘the political achievement’;their defeats in the past has never been accepted as part of ‘failure of Government’.We should simply appreciate & celebrate them for flying despite all odds”.
