The station was set on fire last night following a clash between the members of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and the men of the Nigerian army.
Recall that soldiers are currently in exercise of Operation Python Dance II, which is mainly targeted at curbing kidnappings, seccessionist and armed robbery.
But the situation escalated on Tuesday when members of IPOB clashed with the military at Aba. The clash is yet to be doused as hoodlums invaded the Ariaria Police Station and set it ablaze last night.
