Quit Notice: Igbo must leave - Katsina Youths Insists

Despite the condemnation trailing the quit notice served to Igbo people in the North by the Arewa Youth forum to vacate the region on or before Oct 1, Northern youths are insisting that Igbos must leave their region.

This comes barely 24 hours after the Emir of Katsina Abdulmimin Usman assured the Igbo’s in the State are safe and should not leave, Katsina State Progressive Youth Alliance insisted that the Igbos must leave and no going back on the quit notice.

Speaking at a press conference, the Secretary General of the alliance Abdullahi Marusa, said the alliance holds the emir in high esteem but there is no going back on the October 1st.

According to him, He, Nnamdi Kanu is not allowed to toil with the fragile peace of the nation and the region silence should not be taken for granted.

“Some northerners Like Atiku, Bugaje have clearly shown from their utterances and acts that they don’t believe in the North as such we see them as opportunist seeking relevance from the ongoing impasse.

“The southerners are allowed to say so many worst threat statements of threat, intimidation and blackmail, why aren’t they asked to stop. Its only when the north reacted that they accused of causing tension”he said.
