Miss. Lisa Kanu, an Igbo girl who was born and brought up in Kano State by her parents has lamented ever living in the Northern part of Nigeria.
Her reaction came on the heels of the quit notice issued to Igbo people living in the North to vacate the region before Oct 1 this year.
In a video she uploaded on social media, she recalled how Hausa people burnt down her father’s pharmaceutical shop, threatened to kill their entire family.
She further said living in the North was the worst mistake she has done in her life, adding that only the Igbos practice one Nigeria, therefore, it’s time to go our separate ways.
Meanwhile, she is not the first person that have spoken up to separate Igbos from Hausa’s, apart from her and Nnamdi Kanu led IPOB, a bishop of Amichi Diocese, Bishop Ikeako has made the same call.
According to him, Ndi-Igbo has been treated like second class citizens in Nigeria, and such, they have no place in Nigeria.
