Young Journalist Forum share insight on ‘Nigeria of my Dreams’

25 May 2017, Abuja, Nigeria, Ecuadorian Embassy and Young Journalist Forum with a guest speaker Professor Godini Dara, share views on Nigeria of my Dreams.

In the opening statement the Ambassador Leopoldo Rovayo Verdesoto said Nigeria should ascertain what they want the Nigeria of their Dreams to be and should factor the ideas into the yearly budget and ensure implementation of these ideas.

Professor Dara urges Nigerians to multiply the center of knowledge and information like the Young Journalist Forum held at the Embassy as this will improve the standard of living, he added that journalists should prevail on our leaders to ensure that every Nigerian is equipped with education.

The Coordinator of Young Journalist Forum Mr. Chukwuma Nzeh, said the platform is meant to enhance discussions on salient issues adding that he aspires for a Nigeria, where people would be assessed based on the content of their character and not religion or tribe.

Dr. Ijeoma Emeribe, frowned at the level of corruption in the country and selective prosecution corrupt officials, she proposes, a sincere meditation on the national anthem to serve as a guide.
