Orji Kalu's visit to Nnamani

All Progressive Congress Chieftain and former Abia State governor, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu was on Saturday morning  sighted in the Enugu residence of former Enugu state governor, Dr Chimaroke Nnamani

At the time of this report, the reason for the visit and long hours meeting is yet to be disclosed.

But a  reliable source  said the visit is not unconnected to Kalu’s attempt to woo Nnamani into joining the ruling party, APC.

The source also said Nnamani ‘s health condition could not allow him to be seen as Kalu was taken to his bedroom alone for the meeting.

Meanwhile, another source added that Nnamani is married to Kalu’s sister, Nnena and the visit could have been family related.

It can be also recalled that Kalu since he joined the APC  has been in the forefront of canvassing support  and membership for APC in the South East.

Few weeks ago, he has also embarked on visit to religious leaders which he claimed was to disabuse the minds of Christians who believed the ruling party is dominated by Muslims.

According to him, the ruling party is chaired by a Christian who also doubles as a knight of Roman Catholic Church adding that an individual can not own a political party.
