Chief Dr Emeka Kalu: Nigeria Workers will have cause to smile soon

Eminent Businessman frontline politician, Chief Dr Emeka Charles Kalu, said he is optimistic of a not – too  – distant brighter days ahead for the workers in Nigeria.

The business mogul made this known through his  Media Aide, Comrade Sunny Idika in his May Day message to mark this year workers Day.

According to Chief Kalu, who was a governorship aspirant in 2015 gubernatorial election,  “workers, whether in the civil service or the private sector, will in no distance time, have cause to smile as efforts are on-going by government to ameliorate the present temporary hardship confronting them”.

He described civil servants as an integral part of the economy, whose interest should be jealously guarded at all times, and their contributions to the overall development of the society cannot be wished away.

Chief Kalu, therefore, enjoined workers to continue to show cooperation and understanding with His Excellency President Muhanmadu Buhari, who he said, is working round the clock – to ensure that the welfare of Nigerian workers are his topmost priority.

He further enjoy the Nigerian workers to be steadfast in their commitment to help facilitate, complement and collaborate with the present government of  President Muhammadu Buhari especially on war against corruption.
