Chief Emeka Kalu Condemns Shooting Of Vigilante Officers In Aba


Chief (Dr) Emeka Charles Kalu (ECK) has condemned the shooting of the five Abia State vigilante officers, who were killed by unknown gunmen in Aba, on Monday 27th February, 2017.

The five Officers were murdered while coming back from Umuahia, the Abia State Capital, when the unknown gunmen opened fire on them in broad daylight, along Aba Owerri, Aba, luckily, only the driver escaped the incident unhurt.

The officers were killed while discharging their duties as security men of the state.

Contrary to their sudden deaths, Chief Emeka Kalu condoles the families of the departed officers, urging them to take heart, and mourn with hope.

According to the business mogul, “It’s heartbreaking the level of the insecurities the people living in Abia are facing each day, he called on the Governor Ikpeazu led government to do the needful, at least, secure the lives of the citizens living in the state”.

He also charges the Abia State police commissioner, Mr. Leye Oyebade to put every action in play, and make sure the criminals are brought to justice.

The former Abia State governorship candidate called on the people of Abia to keep hope alive as the good is yet to come.

Meanwhile, Kalu also uses the medium to condemn the ongoing xenophobic attack on Nigerians living in South Africa.

He called on the South African government to put a stop to the old fashion barbaric act, and address the situation before it degenerate.
