The former vice president (south west) people democratic party(PDP)Ishola Falani, has asked the president to probe president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s administration,and past military regimes as part of anti-corruption scheme.
Filani, a lawyer and former national publicity secretary of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), said if the federal government wants to fight corruption, it has to touch the area of probing past military regimes and he also included banks should be looked into.
The PDP chieftain noted that there was no way anybody in government could steal public money without connivance of people in the private sector.
Chief filani also stated that the system of detaining and releasing those who have stolen the countries money by bail after paying some money would increase the rate of corruption,as they would continue with their tricks knowing that the would use part of the money the stole to bail themselves out and the rest goes straight to them.
